FIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2023-2024

 

1. PERFORMANCE COMPANY 
Experience everything from teamwork, hard work, and confidence. Performances at Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Show Stars Show and an added performance at SDM’s recital. This a choreography class offered in SDM’s 2023-2024 school year. Groups are separated by age & level.

Registration Deadline     June 3rd for ’23- ’24
Requirements
Dancers in 4.5-5.5yr & 5-7yrs classes – 1 Ballet/Tap/Jazz weekly
Dancers 6.5 and older – 2 classes weekly Ballet/Jazz- weekly
Hip Hop Style performance co – 1 Hip Hop class weekly

2. DISNEYLAND PARADE
Yes, Dancers participate in a parade down Main Street in Disneyland! This a choreography class offered in SDM’s 2023-2024 school year. Groups are separated by age & level.

Commitment     3 months
Registration Deadline     July 1st for Nov 19 ’23- Dec 1st for Apr 20th ’24   no refunds after Aug 1st & Jan 6th
Requirements
Dancers must be enrolled in 1 class weekly at SDM

3. BALLET COMPANY
Ballet dancers come together to tell a story and perform in a full length ballet – Coppelia 2024! We also welcome you to click here to see our past ballet company productions. Open to all dancers going into Ballet II/IIB for the fall.

Two Ballet classes weekly or Three Pointe Classes weekly

4. HIP HOP CREW
Dancers perform at SDM company performances in March & June, compete at two regional competitions and are invited to participate in optional conventions in the fall. All dancers entering company must be at a minimum of a Hip Hop IIB level or above.

5. JAZZ COMPANY
Dancers perform at SDM company performances in March & June, compete at four regional competitions and are invited to participate in optional conventions in the fall. All dancers entering company must be at a minimum of a Jazz II/IIB level or above.

Commitment     School Year
Registration Deadline     June 19
Requirements
Two Ballet classes weekly or Three Pointe Classes weekly plus Two Jazz Classes weekly with Elite levels taking more
Class Times
Entry level is Friday with Brit & Jes W at 3:45 with current company students placed at 4:55 & 6:05 and different times for Elite students
