We welcome you to our upcoming Dance Recital held on June 5th – 7th at the Redondo Performing Arts Center (1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA 90278).
Please review the info below along with your family’s specific ‘On Stage’ time(s). Don’t forget to arrive with time to find parking!
Recital Weekend Overview:
Junior Showcase Dancers (classes : B/T/J 3-4.5yrs & 4-5.5yrs, HH Jr. 4.5-6.5yrs)
If your dancer is in a ‘Junior Showcase’, please check in 25 minutes before your ‘On Stage’ time. Your dancer will join their group backstage while their family and guests will be welcomed into the theater to watch a couple of performances before your group takes the stage. At your dancers ‘On Stage’ time your dancers will take the stage to perform 2 takes of their performance routine for all to watch. (The first take we will get some pics and the second we will video). You will be able to stay and watch as many numbers as you would like, including some of our competition soloists and groups featuring our older advanced dancers sprinkled in throughout the weekend.
Sat June 6th
Junior Showcase I – 9am-12:45pm – (arrive 25 minutes before your ‘On Stage’ time)
Sun June 7th
Junior Showcase II – 9am-12:45pm – (arrive 25 minutes before your ‘On Stage’ time)
Mini Show Dancers (All other classes levels 5yrs and up)
If your dancer is in a Mini Show, they will perform in a 45-60 minute show. All groups arrive 60 minutes before the show to check-in and practice their routine with their class behind the curtain. This also gives the dancers time to familiarize themselves with the stage, dressing rooms, and prepare themselves mentally before the curtains open. (Professional pics and video will also be taken throughout the show).
Please Note : A few classes will have an additional theater rehearsal (no costume) on Sunday 5/31 before but ONLY if specifically noted for your class. All other groups will rehearse behind the curtain before the actual show.
Frid June 5th
Mini Show 1 – (5:30pm-6:40pm) – call time 4:30pm
Sat June 6th
Mini Show 2 – (2:15pm-3:15pm) – call time 1:15pm
Mini Show 3 – (4:00pm-5:00pm) – call time 3:00pm
Mini Show 4 – (5:45pm-6:55pm) – call time 4:45pm
Sunday June 7th
Mini Show 5 – (2:30pm-3:40pm) – call time 1:30pm

Costume EXCHANGES : Costume companies have strict 30‑day exchange policies and limited inventory, so we must follow firm deadlines. We need all students to try on their costumes as soon as it is received. Any request to change costume size must be submitted to the studio no later than March 30. After March 30, exchanges are not guaranteed. Costume exchanges depend on the costume company’s stock and 30‑day policy. The exact size or costume I need may be sold out, and in that case a new may need to be purchased at families expense. One size up or down may still not fit perfectly. For costumes that only need minor alterations, the studio can arrange alterations for an additional fee.
Costume DO’s and DON’T’s :
* Please come with your DANCER already DRESSED with hair and costume. You will check-in your dancer after you enter the front lobby / main entrance. *
